Community Guidelines
Sports Hub is for people who want to move, play, and build healthy local communities. These guidelines explain what is expected in event chats and event spaces.
Zero tolerance. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior in our community spaces.
1. Respect people first
- No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory conduct.
- No targeted insults based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or nationality.
- No repeated unwanted contact after someone asks you to stop.
2. Keep event chat on-topic and safe
- Use event chat for logistics and coordination related to the activity.
- No spam, scams, phishing, malicious links, or impersonation.
- No explicit sexual content, violent glorification, or illegal content.
- Do not share private personal data (yours or someone else’s) in chat.
3. Be accurate and fair in events
- Share accurate details for location, schedule, and participation status.
- Do not manipulate attendance, ratings, or moderation reports.
- Do not use bots or automation to abuse participation flows.
4. Report and block responsibly
- Use in-app reporting when a message violates these guidelines.
- You may block another user from event chat. Blocked users’ messages are hidden from your view immediately, and Sports Hub is notified for review.
- Choose the closest reason and add details when helpful.
- Do not abuse reports or blocks to retaliate or silence disagreement.
5. How enforcement works
For event chats, organizers/hosts have moderation tools to review reports and remove harmful messages when needed. Any user may block another user for their own experience. Sports Hub may also take platform-level action for severe or repeated violations.
6. Possible actions
- In-app user block (messages hidden for the blocking user)
- Message removal
- Report status updates (reviewing, dismissed, resolved)
- Temporary feature restrictions
- Account suspension or termination in severe/repeat cases
7. Appeals and contact
If you believe an action was applied in error, contact trust@sportshubgo.com with relevant details.
